Payment details. Card and payment-method details are collected and stored securely by our payment processor (Stripe), not by TeacherWave — we do not store full card numbers. This includes payment methods that tutors save in advance so their platform subscription can be billed later (for example, once a student sets up a recurring lesson subscription with them), and any payment methods stored to support recurring or future payments. Stripe processes this data under its own terms and privacy notice.

When you book, message, or take lessons with a tutor, the information needed to provide that service is shared with that tutor, who is responsible for their own use of it as an independent controller. TeacherWave does not sell personal data.

7. International Transfers

Some providers may process data outside Greece or the European Economic Area. Where required, TeacherWave will use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
